Extinction Rebellion are back
Walked through Trafalgar Sq earlier.
No traffic getting through just loads of upper middle class soap dodgers sitting on the roads having picnics.
Looked like a Corbyn lookalike contest.

Oh and Chill's been nicked...

Saw the video of them spraying "blood" at the treasury and they immediately lose control of the hose which proceeds to cover all of them and then just flail around on the floor as they struggle to try and regain control.

Peak level intellects we are dealing with.

they are doing their cause more harm then good.

saw a video of a group doing yoga (while holding up traffic) while surrounded by plastic bags and on plastic/rubber yoga mats.

that's because their puny vegan arms couldn't hold on to the hose

their was definitely one vegan on there (long hair, beard etc) but for some reason they trusted a guy who looked older than the crypt keeper to be the second person holding the hose.

Also not sure what the "blood" has to do with climate change, seems more of a vegan protest thing

The Met Police won’t shift them either, chances are that Cressida Dick is actually on the protest.

I feel sorry for ordinary Londoners just trying to go about their everyday business.

The same lot who, in May I think it was left some of the green areas around london in an absolute fucking state, rubbish everywhere.

Yet want to bang on about global warming?

Cunts, the lot of them. Send the Army in to get them removed.

Yep the CIRCUS is in town

Should adopt the Hong Kong approach to demonstrators with this shower..

Re: Extinction Rebellion are back
It’s funny that there are no demonstrations in India, China, Russia or Greece. Four countries who love a few emissions.

Where are the trees where are the bee's
And the sweet thin air that I used to breath?
Illness surrounds our being, no one immune
Constantly beckoning for another to ruin
This poor world a Capitalist made dream
Where workers bow for the rich to cream
And who gives a shit, we'll all be gone soon
But the children we'll leave covered in doom.

Re: Extinction Rebellion are back
I accept peaceful protests although I doubt many of them realise that their "goal" of having 0 carbon emissions by 2025 will mean the will be living in the Stone Age, but any criminal damage and blocking people going about their business should be a jail sentence of a year.

These gowns and "die-ins" and fake blood and public group exercise sessions sure are doing a lot to prove wrong everyone calling them a cult.

i was in malaysia last month and the entire country was coating in a toxic poisonous haze due to all the illegal open burning in indonesia. air pollution index levels were in the 200s, you could barely see more than half a mile into the distance and the sun was a fuzzy orange at all times.

it had an odd dual effect, it made it clear how shit and claustaphiobic living in a post apocalytic blade runner polutionscape would be, while also illustrating how futile the carbon aware gestures of the rich western economies are when the rest of the world is spewing shit out with no regard.

extinction rebellion are like a kid lashing out at their protective, soft touch mum because they know if they say anything to dad he either won't listen or go and get the belt.

Re: Extinction Rebellion are back
There's another solution what they won't take on, which is the ever growing population on this Earth causing the need for more of everything.

If ...as they admit...we are ruining their world and shortening the lives of their children do you think they will volunteer to show us the way and do a lemming type pact? It would solve a lot of the climate issues if we got back to a manageable number of humans.

It would show us the way AND save the Earth?

Win, win?
